Alef Ba on Paper (أ ب على الورق) is a free, browser-based version of the classic word game known around the world as Stop, Scattergories, or اسم بلاد حيوان جماد. Gather your friends, pick a letter, and race to fill in every category before anyone shouts stop. No download, no sign-up — the host just shares a link and everyone plays together in seconds, on phone or laptop, in Arabic or English.

How to play

1. The host creates a room and shares the invite link with friends.
2. Each round, one player (the role rotates) calls a letter.
3. Everyone races to write a word starting with that letter for each category: Name, Animal, Food, Country and Thing.
4. The round ends on a hard stop or a timer — the host chooses which.
5. Players review the answers and flag anything that shouldn't count.

Scoring

• 10 points — a unique answer no one else wrote.
• 5 points — an answer shared by two or more players.
• 0 points — a blank or invalid answer.

Totals add up across every round, and the highest total at the end wins.
